DOUBLE TAP MEMBERS ONLY CLUB RULES AND GUIDELINES
To maintain a safe, inclusive, and responsible environment for all members, these rules must be followed at all times. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disciplinary actions, including membership suspension or revocation.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
All members must follow the 5 Universal Firearm Safety Rules whenever handling firearms:
1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded at all times.
2. Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you are ready to fire.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
5. Always maintain control of your firearm and ensure it is secure when not in use.

GENERAL CLUB RULES
Membership Access:

Members must carry their membership ID during all club events and present it when requested.

Non-members may only participate in public events, orientation sessions, or clubsponsored outreach activities. For other activities, non-members must be co-signed and accompanied by a current member.

Respect for the Club and Members:

All members must foster an environment of mutual respect, inclusion, and camaraderie. Disrespectful or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

RANGE RULES
Firearm Handling:
-
Firearms must remain unloaded and actions open unless on the firing line.

Always point firearms in a safe direction.

Follow the 5 Universal Firearm Safety Rules at all times.
Safety Officers:

Obey all instructions from the designated Range Safety Officer (RSO).

Unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal from the range.
Prohibited Substances:

Alcohol or controlled substances are strictly prohibited during range activities or on club premises.

EVENT CONDUCT
Punctuality:

Arrive on time for events, workshops, and meetings to prevent disruption and ensure full participation.
Appropriate Attire:
-
Wear suitable clothing and footwear for range and training events. Open-toed shoes, loose jewelry, or other unsafe attire are not allowed.
Behavior:

Maintain professionalism and courtesy during all club activities.

Harassment, bullying, or unsafe conduct will result in immediate disciplinary action.

MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Active Engagement:

Members are encouraged to participate regularly in club events, training, and meetings.

Active participation strengthens the club community.
Dues:
-
Annual membership fees must be paid promptly. Failure to pay within 48 hours of approval will result in application cancellation.
Volunteer Opportunities:

Members are encouraged to take on volunteer roles such as safety oSicers, event organizers, or mentors to support club operations.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
Violations of the club’s rules may result in the following actions, depending on severity:

Verbal or Written Warning: Issued for minor infractions.

Suspension: Temporary suspension of membership privileges.
-
Termination: Permanent revocation of membership without refund for serious or repeated violations.
